About the Walking Track
Cross Robertson Park from Watsons Bay Wharf to The Gap and turn north up the steps to Gap Bluff. Follow a path and steps down to Gap Bluff Road, Hornby Light Road and Cliff Street to Camp Cove Beach. Follow the South Head Heritage Path around South Head and back to Camp Cove. Cross the beach and walk around Green Point to Pacific Street. Follow this street to the steps down to Marine Parade and along Watsons Bay Beach to the wharf.
This walk has it all – a stunning panorama across Sydney Heads, vistas down the cliff-lined coast to Macquarie’s Lighthouse and a glorious view across The Harbour to Bradley’s Head not to mention the fascinating relics of colonial history.
Public Transport
F9 ferry from Circular Quay to Watsons Bay Wharf OR T4 train from Central Station to Edgecliff Station and 324 or 325 bus from Stand D in Edgecliff Interchange to Robertson Park, Watsons Bay. This walk starts at the ferry and runs past the bus stop. A trip planner is available from Transport NSW web site.
