About the Walking Track

Head north from Palm Beach Wharf on the shared path to Pittwater Beach. Stroll along the beach to the Lighthouse Track that you follow to the Lighthouse and the remains of Stuart Tower East. Return via the Smugglers Track and Palm Beach North before a street walk up to McKay Reserve and down to Snapperman Beach and the wharf.
This walk has some of the best coastal scenery in Sydney – from views up and down the Pittwater to the mind-blowing panorama from Barrenjoey across the Hawkesbury Estuary to Lion Island, The Broadwater and Bouddi National Park. Views down the coast to Careel Head and the headlands beyond is only matched by the views from Mackay Reserve on the return leg.
